Miso Happy We Went to Sappora Sushi

Nestled in the Kroger Shopping Center at 16 & John R is a gem of a restaurant called Sapporo Sushi. An understated, quaint little restaurant that serves up fresh, out of the box sushi, lunch boxes, noodles, Korean dishes, soups, salads, appetizers, hibachi, this place has it all.

There were so many delicious things to try! As it was lunch we decided on some sushi and split a Beef Yaki Soba dish. I got my traditional California Roll, while Omar opted for a spicy sushi of the day. They have a variety of daily specials that have interesting sushi combinations.

The food was great, waitstaff attentive and clean. There were not many people in there while we were there and as it was lunch it was a bit concerning, but the food was really good. Omar and I both preferred the sushi at Kona Grill, but if you are in the mood for sushi and a whole lot more, this is the place to go.

I would really love you to try this restaurant. They are small, but food is fresh and staff are friendly. We would love to see them stick around!
